Uwe Evers GmbH in Aurich provides a conversion service to adapt Dräger® C-C550 Com-Control® PTT buttons for use with various radio cables. The converted cables are designed with the dimensions of the original Dräger® C-C550 PTT button cable, but are not original Dräger® cables. The high strength, Kevlar reinforced PUR cables used for the conversion come from the industrial production of Uwe Evers GmbH. Please note:Following conversion and repair by Uwe Evers GmbH, original Dräger® product CE certificates and warranties are void. By installing the audio electronics, the customer provided earmuffs lose the EN 352 specification and are no longer certified as PPE hearing protection. Warranty claims against the earmuff manufacturer expire. Scope of Services:Installation of a robust, electric noise-cancelling gooseneck microphone with windscreen.Installation of a splash-proof PTT button with a clearly defined pressure point on the outside of the earmuff.Installation of a loudspeaker unit.Installation of an earmuff side, approximately 25 cm long connection cable with Dräger® compatible, robust 4-pin military jack plug (Nexus-TP-120-compatible).This radio / audio PTT retrofit allows the audio system to be used universally with many radio standards. We offer a retrofit service to integrate an audio/microphone unit into Pfanner® Protos® hearing protection capsules.Following this conversion, the retrofitted audio units become compatible with inline PTT buttons from various manufacturers. StarCom1 helmet radio headsets for Dräger HPS® 3500 helmets These communication headsets are suitable for Dräger HPS® 3500 helmets and helmets of the same design with a side slot.The DualCom version of the StarCom1 headset has two PTT (push-to-talk) buttons on the outside of the capsule. A special noise cancelling boom microphone enables intelligible voice transmission in noisy environments.The headset can be customized, for example, with the microphone positioned on the left or right.Adaptation to specific radio devices is achieved solely through the connection cable. This means that the headset can be adapted to almost all common radio devices.The illustration shows it paired with a VHF BOS radio from Kenwood.
