Dräger® compatible retrofit service to integrate an SatCom1 audio / PTT microphone unit into Peltor® hearing protection capsules
Note:
The earmuffs must be provided by the customer (client) for the retrofit.
By installing the audio electronics, the customer provided earmuffs lose the EN 352 specification and are no longer certified as PPE hearing protection.
Warranty claims against the earmuff manufacturer expire.
Scope of Services:
Installation of a robust, electric noise-cancelling gooseneck microphone with windscreen.
Installation of a splash-proof PTT button with a clearly defined pressure point on the outside of the earmuff.
Installation of a loudspeaker unit.
Installation of an earmuff side, approximately 25 cm long connection cable with Dräger® compatible, robust 4-pin military jack plug (Nexus-TP-120-compatible).
This radio / audio PTT retrofit allows the audio system to be used universally with many radio standards.

The return consignment includes, in summary:
The capsule with integrated audio unit sent by the customer for retrofitting.
Instruction manual and CE certificate of conformity from Uwe Evers GmbH.
The conversion usually takes 4-5 working days after order approval by our accounting department.
Once the order has been placed online, we will contact you and inform you of the delivery address to which you can send your capsule.
