Headset cables and their base materials are susceptible to age related wear. Replacing permanently molded assemblies is challenging. The illustration above shows a Lightspeed® Zulu Inline housing where the cable inputs and outputs have been fitted with new cables. The housing has undergone chemical cleaning to remove any sticky residue.
