These radio headsets are NOT original products from Pfanner® but can be used instead of the original earmuffs of the Pfanner® Protos® helmet. Inline PTT (Push-to-Talk) button compatible with Savox® and various radio systems
This Savox® compatible inline PTT button is designed for use with SingleCom / DoubleCom helmet radios. This inline PTT button was developed by StarCom1 and designed to facilitate the operation of radio devices used with StarCom1 forestry audio helmet headsets. The large, robust, round PTT button includes a strong clip on the back for secure attachment.This inline PTT button replaces the standard connection cable and adds a secondary, parallel PTT button to the StarCom1 forestry radio headset, in addition to the existing capsule-side PTT button.The inline PTT button is compatible with StarCom1 SingleCom and DoubleCom audio radio headsets, and features a 7.11mm Nexus Peltor® compatible jack plug connection.The PTT button is available with connectors for a wide range of radio standards.Scope of Delivery:1 splash proof helmet radio inline PTT button with spiral cable and radio specific connector plug.
Loudspeaker / microphone retrofit for Pfanner® Protos® hearing protection earmuffs
Audio retrofit service for Pfanner® Protos® hearing protection earmuffs. We offer a retrofit service to integrate an audio/microphone unit into Pfanner® Protos® hearing protection capsules.Following this conversion, the retrofitted audio units become compatible with inline PTT buttons from various manufacturers. This service provides a one sided radio / audio retrofit for Pfanner® Protos® earmuffs. Note:The earmuffs must be provided by the customer (client) for the retrofit. By installing the audio electronics, the customer provided earmuffs lose the EN 352 specification and are no longer certified as PPE hearing protection. Warranty claims against the earmuff manufacturer expire. Scope of Services:Installation of a robust, electric noise-cancelling gooseneck microphone with windscreen.Installation of a splash proof PTT button with a clearly defined pressure point on the outside of the earmuff.Installation of a loudspeaker unit.Installation of an earmuff side, approximately 25 cm long connection cable with Peltor compatible, robust 4-pin military jack plug (Nexus-TP-120-compatible).This radio / audio PTT retrofit allows the audio system to be used universally with many radio standards. Customized PTT switch dongle for Pfanner® Protos® capsules. This StarCom1 PTT switch dongle adds a remote, latching PTT button. This plug in button integrates a secondary PTT switch into the supply line, supplementing the standard configuration.It's designed for situations, such as winch operation, where the side mounted PTT button is inaccessible.
