Baehr® Basic SL with StarCom1 audio racing / commercial vehicle extension
StarCom1 offers a special audio extension for the Baehr® Black Line - BASIC SL KT-LCS-05-01 intercom system, which opens up the proven motorbike intercom system for a wide range of applications beyond pure motorbike communication.
This complete system is ideal for clear communication in noisy environments such as commercial and racing vehicles.
The Baehr® Basic SL control module supports stereo audio transmission and enables professional music enjoyment in addition to the convenient intercom functionality.
For maximum flexibility, the control module features two audio interfaces. Various audio sources, such as music players, telephones, navigation devices, or radios, can be connected to these via optional adapter cables. The audio interfaces are compatible with Baehr®'s classic contacted 6-pin diode connector, thus allowing for easy expansion with components from Baehr®'s extensive range of accessories.
A special feature of the Basic SL is the automated, adjustable microphone sensitivity. As a result, the microphones are only activated when a noise level previously set on the control module is exceeded. This reliably prevents the continuous transmission of disruptive background noise and hiss. In silence, the speakers remain muted, effectively preventing the transmission of driving and wind noise through the audio amplifiers. This well conceived concept is further optimized by StarCom1's noise-cancelling boom microphones. The 12 volt power supply ensures flexible and customized use of the system.
