Headset cables and their base materials are subject to age-related wear and tear. Replacing these components can be highly challenging in the case of overmolded assemblies. The image above shows a MicroAvionics® PM-100 headset with a customized, radio-specific connector cable. As part of this overhaul, the housing was chemically cleaned, cleared of any sticky residue, and the ear pads were replaced.

Repair and replacement of worn connection cables.In addition to the coiled connection cable, this also includes the reconstruction of cable grommets and strain reliefs (materials included) on customer-supplied MicroAvionics® PM-100 headsets.
