Yaesu® FTA-550 Airband Radio
The Yaesu® FTA-550 Pro-X is a feature-rich 8.33 kHz / 5-watt airband radio that offers a wide range of functions that are easy to operate via a large, menu-driven display. This device complies with current standards, supports both 25 kHz and 8.33 kHz frequency spacing, has the latest software, and is therefore technically up-to-date for years to come.
The Yaesu® airband radios offered here are EU imports with a legal warranty of 24 months. The devices are CE-specified and WEEE-marked. A robust polycarbonate housing encloses the solid aluminum main body, making the device shock and vibration resistant. It is also specified according to IPX4.
The operating concept is clear and intuitive. A large, backlit display and a button matrix with a clear pressure point complete the overall concept. There is nothing more to add here. The Yaesu® FTA series is very extensively equipped and offers a variety of functions that are easy to operate via a large, menu-driven display. The functionality is so extensive that we will not go into further detail here.
