SAVOX® Compatible Retrofit of an Audio/PTT Microphone Unit into a Peltor® Ear Cup

Note:

• For the conversion service, the hearing protection ear cup must be provided by the customer (client).
• Due to the integration of the audio electronics, the customer-supplied ear cup loses its EN 352 specification and is no longer certified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for hearing protection.
• Warranty claims against the original manufacturer of the ear cup will be rendered void.

Scope of Performance:

• Installation of a robust, electric noise-canceling gooseneck microphone with windshield.
• Installation of a splash-proof PTT button with a clearly defined tactile pressure point on the outside of the shell.
• Installation of a speaker unit. Installation of an ear-cup-side connection cable (approx. 25 cm long) featuring a SAVOX® compatible, robust 4-pin military jack plug (Nexus® TP-120 compatible).
• This radio/audio PTT retrofit allows the system to be used universally across a wide range of radio standards.

Return Delivery:

The return shipment summary includes:

• The customer-supplied ear cup with the integrated audio unit.
• Instruction manual and CE Declaration of Conformity issued by Uwe Evers GmbH.

The conversion typically takes 4–5 business days following order approval by our accounting department.

Once your online order is completed, we will contact you with the shipping address where you can send your ear cup.
