Radio / PTT retrofit for Peltor® SportTac® Shooting and SportTac® Hunting headsets. 

Retrofitting a / PTT microphone unit in a Peltor® SportTac® Shooting or SportTac® Hunting headset by Uwe Evers GmbH from Aurich.

Note:

The customer (client) must provide the headset for the conversion. By installing the audio electronics, the headset provided by the customer lose the EN 352 specification and are no longer certified as PPE hearing protection. 

Warranty claims against the manufacturer of the Peltor® SportTac® headset are void.

Scope of Services:

  • Installation of a robust, electric noise cancelling boom microphone with a windscreen. 

  • Installation of a splash proof PTT button with a clearly defined pressure point on the outside of the capsule.

  • Installation of a coiled cable on the capsule for connection to radio devices.

  • This PTT radio retrofit enables the headset to be used with various radio systems.

  • A radio specific connection cable is included with the return shipment. 

Return shipment: 

The return shipment includes the following:

  • The customer's headset, retrofitted with an integrated radio PTT function.

  • Radio specific, coiled connection cable, approximately 40 cm in length.

  • Instructions and CE certificate of conformity from Uwe Evers GmbH.

The conversion typically takes 4-5 working days after order approval by our accounting department.

After placing your online order, we will contact you with the delivery address for sending your Peltor SportTac Shooting or SportTac Hunting headset.

If you own radios and are uncertain about the correct connection standard, please include the radio with your shipment.

Please ensure that the batteries are fully charged.
