Icom® IC-A6E aircraft radio
Icom® AIR with 8.33 kHz raster Icom IC-A6E / A24E aeronautical air radios have proven themselves over many years and are a guarantee for high quality and availability. The overall design is absolutely uncompromising. With the IC-A6, A-24, A-25 and A1-6 models, Icom has bridged the gap between the classic 25 kHz channel spacing and the 8.33 kHz channel spacing. These models are based on current standards and support the 25 kHz and 8.33 kHz standard and can be used technically for years in the latest version.
Important note:
The Icom® IC-A6 complies with international standards and no longer has German specific approval as a ground station. The radios may therefore only be used as an accompanying device in the aircraft. You can find more detailed information on the Icom Europe website.
The Icom aircraft radios offered here are EC imports with a statutory warranty of 24 months. The devices are CE-specified and WEEE-labelled.
A robust polycarbonate housing encloses the solid aluminium base body and makes the device shock and vibration resistant and is specified to IPX4. The operating concept is ‘slim and coherent’ and is quickly understood.
A large backlit display and a button matrix with a clear pressure point round off the overall concept. The two models IC-A6 and IC-A6E differ in that the IC-A6E version has an additional VOR navigation function.
Scope of delivery / dimensions / weight:
The scope of delivery includes a 7.2 Volt / 1480 mAh NiMH battery (BP-210N), 220 Volt plug-in charger with Euro plug (BC-167SD), belt clip, carrying strap, CE declaration of conformity and an English-language operating manual.
The dimensions (without antenna) are 129.3 x 54 x 35.5 [mm].
The weight including battery and antenna is 430 grams.
