Retrofitting PTT audio functionality in 3M® / Peltor® WS-Alert-XPI hearing protection headsets by Uwe Evers GmbH from Aurich

Important Note:

The customer must provide the earmuffs for the retrofit. By installing the audio electronics, the customer's earmuffs lose the EN 352 specification and are no longer certified as PPE hearing protection.

Warranty claims against the manufacturer of the 3M®/Peltor® WS-Alert-XPI headsets are void.

Scope of Services:

Conversion of the capsule's rear AUX socket to duplex functionality (listening/speaking).
After the conversion, the 3M®/Peltor® WS-Alert-XPI audio system can be used universally for many radio standards.
This includes a radio specific, spiralized connection cable, which is part of the return shipment.

Procedure and Return:

The return shipment includes the following:

The customer's headset, retrofitted with a newly parameterized rear AUX socket.

Radio specific, spiralized connection cable with splash proof inline PTT button, approximately 50 cm in length.
Instructions and CE certificate of conformity from Uwe Evers GmbH.

The conversion typically takes 4-5 working days after order approval by our accounts department.

After placing your online order, we will contact you and provide the delivery address for sending your 3M® / Peltor® WS-Alert®-XPI headset.

If you own radio equipment and are uncertain about the correct connection standard, please include the radio equipment with your shipment.

Please ensure that the batteries are fully charged.
