This service provides a one sided radio / audio retrofit for Husqvarna® Technical earmuffs

Note:

  • The earmuffs must be provided by the customer (client) for the retrofit. 

  • By installing the audio electronics, the customer provided earmuffs lose the EN 352 specification and are no longer certified as PPE hearing protection. 

  • Warranty claims against the earmuff manufacturer expire. 

Scope of Services:

  • Installation of a robust, electric noise-cancelling gooseneck microphone with windscreen.

  • Installation of a splash-proof PTT button with a clearly defined pressure point on the outside of the earmuff.

  • Installation of a loudspeaker unit.

  • Installation of an earmuff side, approximately 25 cm long connection cable with Peltor compatible, robust 4-pin military jack plug (Nexus-TP-120-compatible).

This radio / audio PTT retrofit allows the audio system to be used universally with many radio standards. 

This includes a radio specific connection cable, included in the return shipment.

Return Consignment: 

The return consignment includes, in summary:

  • The capsule with integrated audio unit sent by the customer for retrofitting.

  • Radio specific, spiralized connection cable with a length of approximately 40 cm. 

  • Instruction manual and CE certificate of conformity from Uwe Evers GmbH. 

The conversion usually takes 4-5 working days after order approval by our accounting department. 

Once the order has been placed online, we will contact you and inform you of the delivery address to which you can send your capsule. 

If you already own radio equipment and are unsure which connection standard to order, please also send the radio equipment with your order. 

Please note that the batteries should be charged. Please also note our range of analog and digital PMR446/dPMR446 radios.
