Icom IC-A24E Airband Radio Icom AIR with 8.33 kHz Channel Spacing

Icom IC-A24E Airband Radio / NAV / VOR Icom airband radios have proven themselves over the years and are a guarantee for high quality and availability. The overall design is absolutely uncompromising. With the models IC-A6, A-24, A-25, and A1-6, Icom has bridged the gap from the classic 25 kHz channel spacing to the 8.33 kHz channel spacing. These models are based on current standards and support both 25 kHz and 8.33 kHz standards, and in the latest version, they are technically usable for years.

Important note:

The Icom IC-A6 and IC-A24E comply with international standards and no longer have a Germany-specific approval as a ground station. The radios may therefore only be used as an accompanying device in the aircraft. More detailed information can be found on the Icom Europe website. The Icom airband radios offered here are EC imports, whose statutory warranty is 24 months. The devices are CE-specified and WEEE-marked.

A robust polycarbonate housing encloses the solid aluminum basic body and makes the device shock- and vibration-resistant and is specified according to IPX4. The operating concept is "sleek and coherent" and is quickly understood. A large backlit display and a button matrix with clear pressure point round off the overall concept. The two models IC-A6 and IC-A24E differ in that the IC-A24E version has an additional VOR navigation function. In DVOR mode, the bearing to or from a VOR station is displayed, in CDI mode, the course deviation to or from a VOR station can be read on the display.

• The scope of delivery includes a 7.2 Volt / 1480 mAh NiMH battery (BP-210N), 220 Volt plug charger with Euro plug (BC-167SD), belt clip, hand strap, CE conformity declaration, and an English-language operating manual.

• The dimensions are (without antenna) 129.3 x 54 x 35.5 [mm].

• The weight including battery and antenna is 430 grams.
