The PTT button offered here facilitates the direct connection of motorcycle helmets, such as those from Schubert®, equipped with Haberl® audio units, to Motorola® or Sepura® BOS radios.
This combination is ideal for emergency responders who require reliable radio communication independent of the motorcycle, whether the helmet is worn or removed.
The water resistant chest PTT button features a side mounted audio switch that, when activated, diverts the audio connection from the helmet audio unit back to the radio, for example, when the helmet is taken off.
This design allows the connection cable, attached to the radio's accessory socket, to remain permanently installed.
The user can monitor radio communication even with the helmet unit detached.
The PTT button and its connection cables are industrially manufactured and comply with CE and WEEE standards.
Custom made versions are available upon request.
