High-quality inline PTT button for motorcycle radio communication, compatible with Motorola® and Sepura® digital radios.
StarCom1 manufactures compatible assemblies specifically designed for custom builds and emergency vehicles by haberl® electronic GmbH & Co. KG from Arnsdorf.
The PTT button offered here allows direct connection of motorcycle helmets (e.g., Schuberth®) equipped with a Haberl® audio unit to Motorola® or Sepura® BOS radios.
This combination is ideal for emergency responders who require a radio link independent of the motorcycle, whether wearing the helmet or with it removed.
The water-resistant chest PTT button features a green audio toggle switch on the side which, when activated, reroutes the audio signal from the helmet audio unit back to the radio—for instance, when the helmet has been taken off.
As a result, the connection cable attached to the radio's accessory socket can remain permanently plugged into the device.
The user can continue to monitor radio communications even with the helmet unit removed.
The PTT button and supply leads are industrially manufactured and comply with CE and WEEE standards. Custom configurations are available upon request.
