General Aviation Headset Cable – OEM Quality with Robust Military Standard Plugs.
This headset replacement cable complies with the GA aviation standard and features PJ-055 and PJ-068 General Aviation plugs. All 5 pins are wired and can be contacted at the cable end. The microphone lead from the PJ-068 plug is shielded. The overmolded jack plugs, made from corrosion-resistant copper-tin alloy, are robust and meet common military standards.
The basic cable material consists of robust and acid-resistant PUR with internal Kevlar reinforcement and a diameter of 4.6 mm. The straight cable section from the plug housing to the Y-split is approximately 20 cm long and transitions into a coiled cable with an approx. 50 cm block length. The unstretched cable length is approximately 95 cm and can be extended to approx. 220 cm.
The coiled body features a special Helix coil that ensures high restorative force.
