Garmin® / VHF-100 and Similar Marine / Coastal Radios – Repair of Garmin® VHF Microphone Leads

Garmin® VHF radios are, without exception, of excellent quality, resulting in a very long lifespan. It is all the more annoying when a complete marine radio system has to be replaced simply because the microphone leads have become brittle due to age, UV radiation, temperature fluctuations, and normal use.

Uwe Evers GmbH in Aurich has specialized in remanufacturing spare assemblies that are no longer available or have never been available.

The microphone cable submitted for repair is cut during the refurbishment process and cannot be reused. The radio must be opened for this procedure.

The cable repair takes approximately 4–5 working days.
