Dynascan AB-650 Airband Radio with special features
At first glance, the new Dynascan AB-650 might seem rather inconspicuous compared to established airband radios from Icom or Yaesu. It appears to be another standardized airband Walkie Talkie with full features.
But appearances are deceiving! The AB-650 features a special audio accessory interface, with which Dynascan is breaking new ground. This interface is not oriented towards the somewhat inflexible General Aviation standard, but rather towards the Kenwood-specific land/mobile radio standard.
This means that numerous common and affordable audio accessories can be used without additional adapters. With these technical characteristics, the new Dynascan AB-650 is aimed at semi-professional users such as paraglider pilots.
They can now, in addition to the widespread China Walkie Talkies with Kenwood audio connection, use a fully-fledged and powerful airband radio, without having to do without their already existing audio accessories.

Scope of delivery / Dimensions / Weight
The scope of delivery of the Dynascan AB-650 includes a powerful Li-Ion battery with approx. 2400 mAh, which enables a long operating time. A supplied desktop charger is used to charge the battery. Furthermore, a cover for the accessory socket, a belt clip, and a multi-language operating manual are included in the scope of delivery.
The compact device measures approx. 124 x 62 x 34 mm and weighs approx. 280 grams including battery and antenna.
