This racing radio/intercom system, based on modern smartphone technology, revolutionizes driver/crew communication. The system utilizes standardized iOS/Android smartphones, enhanced with the StarCom1 Racing Headset.
StarCom1's noise cancelling microphone technology combines hardware and the internal audio signal processing of modern smartphones to effectively filter out background noise, even in loud environments.
Audio playback is delivered via modern in-ear earphones, enabling communication without the need for traditional intercom systems.
The Smart RacingCom kit includes a helmet installation kit, comprising a helmet wiring harness with a noise-cancelling adhesive microphone, an in-ear connection cable, and a professional in-ear headset.
This helmet installation kit is designed to meet the current Peltor® plug standard with a 7.11 mm 4-pin jack plug, ensuring compatibility with many classic intercom systems.
The main wiring harness features a large safety call answer button with an integrated smartphone connection cable and an approximately 180 cm long helmet cable.
All cable and plug connections utilize high-quality, Peltor®/Nexus®-compatible components.
