PTT Headset for Icom Aviation Radios.

Peltor® compatible Radio/PTT Headphones for Icom Aviation Radios of the models IC-A1, IC-A15, IC-A-15S, IC-A2, IC-A20, IC-A21, IC-A-22, IC-A-22E, IC-A23, IC-A5, IC-A24, IC-A6, IC-A-24E, IC-A6E, IC-A3, IC-A3AE.

StarCom1 headset with integrated PTT button for Icom aviation radios with side 2.5/3.5 mm Icom Air wired accessory socket. The starting point for this product is the globally widespread 3M® / Peltor® hearing protection from the current X Series. The basic hearing protection has been expanded with a unilateral speaker/boom microphone combination with PTT button and converted into an audio headset. The internal electronics enable a direct connection to the Icom aviation radio accessory standard. No adapters, amplifiers or similar are required. The microphone modulation is loud and powerful!

The basic concept is quite simple. A Peltor X-Series hearing protection earcup is equipped with a speaker, a PTT button and a boom microphone with a coiled cable and converted into a noise protection headset. The PTT button is located at "ear level" and can be operated intuitively, eliminating the need for groping or searching. It is significant that this expanded/modified hearing protection earcup can be detached from the headband and can be easily adapted to professional group-specific safety helmets.
