Installation Service on POC® Fornix Alpine Ski Helmets - Professional Headset Installation in Aviation Helmets.

Custom Headset Installation by Uwe Evers GmbH, consisting of: 

  • 1 x Speaker, installed laterally in the ear pad 

  • 1 x Gooseneck microphone, integrated into the ear pad 

  • 1 x PTT button, integrated into the ear pad 

  • 1 x Radio-specific coiled connection cable 

The PTT button is operated by pressing the outside of the EarPad. The 20 cm long, smooth exit cable, connected to the helmet body with strain relief, has MIL-quality Peltor/Nexus compatible plug connections. A coiled connection cable, approx. 50 cm long, is connected here, which establishes the connection to a variety of radio-specific connections. This is a complete installation including all necessary cables, buttons and audio components according to customer requirements in a helmet provided by the customer. 

Optionally, the following are also available: 

  • A second speaker on the opposite side 

  • Another PTT button on the opposite side 

  • Another pluggable finger PTT button, usable in parallel, with an approx. 100 cm long cable 

The conversion usually takes 4-5 working days after order approval by our accounting department. After the online order has been placed, we will contact you and provide you with the shipping address to which you can send your helmet. If you already own radios and are unsure which connection standard to order, please also send the radio. Please note that the batteries should be charged.

The pictures show a custom headset and are for illustrative purposes only. The installation situation and the placement of the installed individual components depend on the helmet supplied and can only be determined during the installation.
