In-Ear Airband Radio Earphones for Professional Applications
In-ear headsets are used in professional flight sports. Previously, only the US provider Racing Electronics produced them.
Currently, StarCom1 has expanded the production of professional in-ear headsets in Germany. They are specifically designed for airband radio applications with a 6.30 mm PJ-055 GA connector and an approximate cable length of 60 cm.
The electromechanical miniature transducers provide excellent acoustics. They have a linear frequency response in the 20 - 16000 Hz range. Both speech and music are transmitted in Hi-Fi quality. Modern transducers from hearing aid acoustics, with a diameter of only 2.5 mm, can be placed securely and painlessly in smaller ear canals for extended periods.
The twisted, Kevlar-reinforced PUR supply cable has a dual-strand length of approximately 60 cm. It splits into two single-strand cable segments, each about 20 cm long. The high-strength, elastic cable is virtually indestructible without mechanical aids, ensuring high reliability. The highly elastic foam bodies are removable without damage and are easy to replace.
The headset is CE-specified and RoHS compliant.
